Ino was glad to be inside, where it was warm, and she stopped outside her door still wrapped in Kabuto's cloak and looked up at him. And had to laugh 'cause his glasses were still streaky from the snow she'd dumped on his face.

"You coming in?" Ino said hopefully. She wasn't tired yet, and his company was welcome.

"Want to borrow the shirt I stole from you?" Ino asked, proving him wrong, while taking her hair out of its ponytail, "Not that I mind you shirtless or anything." She turned her back to him and quickly changed into her pajamas.

"I don't need a shirt. I need pants. Unless you'd prefer me pants-less, as well?" Kabuto raised both eyebrows at her, affecting innocent surprise.

Ino was so, so very glad he couldn't see how red her face was. Yay, for not facing him! "Keep your pants on!" There was a definite bit of spazzing. "And get a pair from your room if you need them so badly!"

"I'm fine." Kabuto laid his wet clothes out flat so they'd at least dry somewhat, then sneaked up behind Ino and slid his arms around her waist. "Are you warmer, now?"

She squeaked in surprise and looked down at his arms then up at him, "I'm good," Ino said, ignoring the fact that her fading blush was probably still noticable, "but you shouldn't be in wet clothing." Scolding crept into her voice. Yes, she was going to nag at him.

"I'm not that wet," Kabuto argued genially, tightening his hold on Ino. "Besides, it's warm in here. And it's very hard to get me sick." Notice how he'd had to change that from 'impossible'. "Not from normal means." He smirked slightly as he kissed the base of Ino's neck.

"You're trying to distract me," Ino said, leaning back against him and rolling her eyes, "and even if you can't get sick, I refuse to believe that you're comfortable in wet pants."

"It's been worse before," Kabuto told her, not stopping on his distraction tactics. What? It usually worked.

"Doesn't mean it should to be bad right now." Ino informed him, trying not to show that it was working. Damn him.

Of course it was working. It always did. "So you want them off?" Kabuto teased, laughter in his voice.

She blushed and elbowed him in the stomach, "I didn't say that!"

"You implied it," Kabuto replied unrepentently. "It's really okay if you want me, Ino-san. It's perfectly normal."

And there went the blushing thing again. "I didn't imply that!" She glared up at him, "And I do not want you!"

"If you say so." Kabuto released Ino, walking over to her bed and climbing in. He wasn't really that wet. And blankets were warm.

Ino just sorta stared at him as he made himself comfortable in her bed. "Just make yourself at home, then." Dryly. Nevermind that he was really easy on the eyes. She shook her head, "I'm going to go and quickly make some tea, do you want some?"

"You want help in making it?" Kabuto asked helpfully, pulling the band out of his damp hair and shaking it out. It was cold against his back!

"... if you really want to come? Sure." Ino said, "And I'm brushing your hair out later 'cause that's just sad." Come to think of it she needed to brush hers out too.

Kabuto frowned at her. "It's not sad. It's just a little wet." He got up and linked his arm through hers. "Tea, then?"

"It's tangled. That's what's sad." Ino totally didn't take a moment to admire his chest. Not her. She tugged him to the door, "Let's go, so we can come back."

Kabuto was a little...well, not scrawny, but he was surely no bodybuilder. Wiry was a good word. Ninja tended toward a slighter build than non-ninja. Unless, of course, the ninja was an Akimichi. But he was perfectly happy to go out to make tea with Ino without bothering to put on a wet shirt back on.

And she was perfectly happy to have him that way. Growing up in a ninja village did tend to have an effect on your perceptions after all, and wiry was fine by her.

Tea probably took a little longer than it should've because they couldn't do anything simply and because there was no real need to hurry, but eventually they made it back to her room. With tea.

Mmm. Tea. Kabuto was happy with tea, yes. It was warm, which counteracted the cold damp hair against his back. Kabuto much preferred warm.

"This was a good idea," he commented.

"The tea? The following me back to my room? Or ambushing me with snow?" Ino grinned at him, setting her tea on her desk and grabbing up her hairbrush to deal with her tangles before dealing with his. Letting it dry would just make it worse.

"All of the above?" Kabuto asked, shrugging slightly. "It's more entertaining than sitting behind the bar with Musubi." For a moment, Kabuto wished he had a kunai. His fingers itched to do something.

She flicked a little origami flower at him. If he looked around the room he'd see that there were quite a few paper flowers in various colours scattered about. Ino hadn't gotten around to deciding what to do with them yet. "I'm glad to provide you with some form of entertainment, I suppose."
